Just a guy who wants to make things. Trying not to spread myself too thin between music, illustration, and video game development, but I see lights at the end of each tunnel, so I think it could be a good thing, for now. I've been off and on DeviantArt for quite a while, but haven't contributed much until more recently, and now the ball is rolling.

All comments are appreciated, critiques even more so.

Thank you :).

Time for my annual DA update (seriously, what is the deal?!)!

Recently, I've relocated from Alaska to the "other" great northwest, Washington/Oregon. I put Washington/Oregon, because I'm still trying to decide between Vancouver or Portland. Since then, I've also trekked down to Texas and Louisiana to see family that I haven't seen in years. Everything went so well. Even the weather was on our side. Then, upon returning to my new, temporary residence in Washington, I receive word that one of my younger brothers is... taking necessary steps to become whole again. I worry, but I'm so very proud of him.

As soon as I can dig out my scanner from one of the many boxes I still haven't unpacked, I'll post new drawings. I've been working through Drawing Basics and Video Game Art, a classroom-in-a-book by Chris Solarski, and I think I've finally found the book that I can get grounded in. There are hundreds of great how-to books out there, but this one really connects for some reason. It's all in the language.
